Always be on the lookout for offers and discounts on accommodations especially early in the year and try to plan your vacation for during the off season for more savings not just with your accommodations but in your airfare as well. As long as you can get access to the internet then planning a vacation will definitely be a breeze.

Anyone have a copy of the WSJ article from a few days ago about the last minute hotel deals? and the websites?
There was an article in the wall street journal i think in the travel section last week (5/22/07-5/25/07) about websites that advertise and sell the excess hotel rooms at the last minute from expensive chains that are under occupancy or during off peak times?

There were maybe 2-3 websites I wanted to keep and I mistakenly threw out the article.
