for hotels right now go straight with the hotels website it's the cheapest right now, 4 nights in vegas during xmas i paid $350 you have to pay everything up front and if you cancel you don't get your money back it's sort of the reason why it's so cheap but if you're 100% sure you're going why not? that was at luxor for a pyramid room with 2 queen beds it's called the MVP (most valuable price) as for flights depends on where you're flying from if you can do southwest book southwest they're the cheapest i know of and i fly everywhere haha i hate to drive basically i live 3 hours away from my sister (she lives in reno i live in the bay area) and i fly when i visit her if i could fly to sacramento when i go (about an hour in a half to 2 hours away from me) i would. but compared to other big airlines southwest and jetblue are the most reasonable especially if you book online. just booked a flight(southwest) for 2 adults cost me $340 round trip from the bay area to reno leaving 13th of feb comming back on presidents day. not only a holiday weekend up vday week end too. gives a vague idea of prices last time i flew to vegas it cost about $380 for 2 round trip i believe from san jose airport to vegas airport

July 15th to the 27th has some very good rates if you go Sunday through Thursday.
I always book through the hotel, but I use online sites to compare rates. Many LV hotels will price match the best online rate you can find for their hotel.

That is a bit away from now and the hotels don't really deal until a month or two ahead. You can start looking now to see where prices are and watch over the next few months. You will see the prices start to drop. Same with airlines though they don't drop too much.

You are going to have such a good time! Have you looked into the Luxor Hotel? They have a special coupon that's floating around for stay 2 nights and only pay for 1. You end up paying for less than $60 a night. You can even use it to stay for more than 2 nights and get the same deal
Just go to the Luxor Hotel website and look for promotional coupon and it will lead you through a series of steps or just go to the direct link here http://www.freehotelcoupons.info/luxor-hotel-coupon
Good luck and have some fun

It is not easy to find a last minute offer because promotions will be published 2 – 3 months in advance but you can check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com – it has the latest promotion offer codes available. MGM and Mandalay e.g. are fine, they have great pool areas.

By far the most reliable sites for cheapo hotel deals are the hotels themselves. MGM/Mirage, Caesars (used to be Harrah's Entertainment Group), and most of the independents have email sign up services.
1. Get on the mailing list for the hotel emails. Use the promo code if they have one.
2. Compare prices to the travel sites.
3. Less than 10% of the time, the travel sites have lower rates but if they do, ask the hotel to match or beat that rate.
4. If you are a gambler, ask what they require to qualify for the casino rate. Compare the casino rate to the rate that you were quoted. If you are sure you can meet the casino rate requirements and it is lower than their best rate, go with the casino rate.
Most of the time the promo codes for the hotels are actually cheaper than the casino rates but if you gamble a lot you may get your room for free.
5. If you compare rates and promo codes, also compare the side benefits. Sometimes a hotel promo code comes with shopping, food/bev discounts, spa savings, etc.
6. There is no website that does an extensive side by side comparison of hotel promo codes that I can recommend.
Most list them right on top of each other which makes it hard to figure out which is the best bang for the buck. http://vegasmadeeasy.com/hotelpromo.php has their information arranged so you can easily see rates, food, shows, spa discounts, etc. compared side by side but their listings are not large although current.
http://www.vegashotelspecial.com/ has a very extensive listing of deals but many have expired. They show deals for Boardwalk but that hotel was torn down years ago.

There's a site that gives side-by-side comparisons of the best deals of different discount sites called travelaxe. You should check directly at the hotel sites themselves, though, to compare. You should know that there are no extra fees if you book directly with the hotel, and they give the most generous refund terms. Travel websites can tack on $10-$20 or more, and make it difficult to get even a partial refund, so read terms carefully.

Since it is a weekend you aren't going to get really great prices plus the weather is getting warmer and will be even busier. You might try this site and see what they can do.
