14 pounds is less than 18 euros. I assume you mean PER PERSON because if not then forget about it.

The Auberge Internationale des Jeunes at 10 rue Trousseau in the 11th arrondeissment is about that price. http://www.aijparis.com/framea.htm

  2. THESSALONIKI IS NOT GREEK Says:

I agree with Xalynn, you should rent a flat rather than stay at a hotel if you are going to stay more than a couple of weeks.

FUSAC is an option but not the best for good deals since it mostly caters to rich American daddy's girls and boys pretending to live the Bohemian Parisian lifestyle in 4,000 € apartments overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

The average price for a studio in a nice, safe neighborhood is 400 € – 800 € a month but for a slightly higher price I would suggest the safety and convenience of going through a reputable agency like Lodgis: http://sublet.lodgis.com/en/paris/listing/

If you don't find the place you want available at the dates you want (December is a bit last minute to find something for early January), check http://www.seloger.com, http://www.pap.fr (directly by owner) or holiday rental sites like http://www.abritel.com or homelidays.com. All these sites are available in English (just find the flag on the home page).

  3. Mel Jel Says:

There may well be a shuttle (free?) from the hotel to the park. That would be intelligent on their part, seeing as most tourists fly in.

But personally, I would recommend you stay in a hotel in Paris itself and then take the train to Disneyland. That way you could get the best of both worlds from your trip. A room in a cheapish hotel in Paris will cost you between 50 and 100 euros a night for the two of you sharing. The train to didyland is a tad under 6 euros and takes half an hour.
Also look into Eurostar for getting to Paris, rather than flying. But it depends on where you live.

  4. Naruto U Says:

You'll definately be able to get a good deal!
They usually have offers on, like under 12's stay and play free,
or an extra day and night.

    For 2 adults and 2 children(one 16 and the other 13.)
And for us to go on eurostar, and stay in the hotel new york, the second best hotel in the resort
    it is 1300 pound.

But i'm sure that if you maybe, went on a bus, with a group or through a travel agents, and stay in one of the lower hotels, which are cheaper but equally amazing. One such as Santa Fe, or Hotel Cheyenne, im sure you will reach and stay in your price range(:

    hope you have fun!

Try this blog that I found where it teaches you how to get the ABSOLUTE CHEAPEST flights anywhere around the world.

The second blog, although titled Dubai, has an searchbox where you can search 100+ sites with one click… really useful tool. After the search ends it outlines the sites that give you the very best price. (for flight-hotel-car-or packages)

  6. Of another kind Says:

    Hello,

Near Madeleine, street Chauveau Lagarde, there is a private car park, located near the New Hotel Roblin. You can try to manage special prices for the night.

Otherwise the firm that manages all the parkings in Paris is Vinci Park.
Special prices are charged for the night.

  7. Truth Says:

I agree, close to De Gaulle Airport; there is nothing to see, it's an industrial area.
If you want to see something in Paris for 24 hours, maybe you can book an hotel close to the airport; especially if you take off early the next day.
But you can come downtown in Paris center with a special coach (Air France Bus) which will let you at Arc de Triomphe if you choose the line 2.
From there you can visit many things and you can take the same bus back in the evening.

And from Arc de Triomphe you are just at the top of Champs Elysées where you can have a walk and go down until Louvre, crossing the Tuileries garden.

See on my blog some pictures…Unfortunately, you won't be able to see everything…..but if you see :

    - Champs Elysées
    - Tuileries
    - Pyramide in front of Louvre
    - and close to there : garden of Palais Royal
    - If you can stay a whole day, in july you can make a tour in "bateau-mouche", a boat which goes along the Seine river, not expensive :

  8. mahnazb Says:

the cheapest place is an area named pigalle. i was able to find hotels for $30 a night. since they are such low budget, they dont advertise on the net. if you want to book in advance, go to st christophers. then once you get there, walk around pigalle and find something else for the remainder of your stay.

  9. Kevinlad Says:

It's close to the Eiffel Tower but far from anything else, and certainly a pretty long walk to the center (about 45 minutes walking fast), as Rillifane said.

But if instead of Dupleix you walk to nearby Métro stop La Motte Picquet Grenelle on line 10 (toward Gare d'Austerlitz), you are only a short & direct ride to St-Germain-des-Prés, Odéon & Cluny-Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter, which is pretty central. Have a nice weekend in Paris!

Edit: the métro works until approx. 2:00 am on weekends (1:00 am on weekdays), and not 11pm as said below.
